Role Models

Jennifer's Body

I don't know why but my family and friend group absolutely LOVE Jennifer's Body! Maybe it's Megan Fox's hotness or the total cliche' plot, but it's deep in my heart. The quotes are awesome and I use them on a daily basis.

EASY A

Movie of the day is *drumroll* Easy A!

It's funny, quirky, intelligent and peppy. Emma Stone is absolutely beautiful in this role as the school 'slut' that is really a very intelligent, kind, loving, loyal, resilient virgin. The references to 'The Scarlet Letter' are priceless. One of my favorite quotes isn't here, it's by my favorite character, which is her favorite teacher (a lot of favoritism):

"I don't know what it is about Nina.... I hate her. But if you tell anyone, I'll deny it, so...."

and "I don't know what your generation's fascination is with documenting your every thought... but I can assure you, they're not all diamonds. "Roman is having an OK day, and bought a Coke Zero at the gas station. Raise the roof." Who gives a rat's ass?"

"Uuughhh, he got a Coke Zero again?! Ah, that Roman. Incorrigible."

 The last image pretty much sums me up. XD

My Poem

So, I wrote a poem the other day, I hope that you like it! I wrote it in the spare negative seconds that I had to meet my friend, so it is a bit rough but here it is anyway.

I am not strange

I am not odd

My face is plain 

my name is Todd.

I am a tinfoil man 

In this tinfoil world

I do as I see 

so I don't get hurt.

You won't see me alone 

Nor find me in a crowd

I speak only Quiet

and don't laugh too loud.

I'm not different

You won't see my cracks

I speak when spoken to

and don't chat back.

I don't dare to care

I do not smile

I do as I'm told

And I do not act wild.

I am a tinfoil man

In this tinfoil world

Where everything's strange

and nothing's absurd.

Remember me

My name is Todd

I know that you won't

Because I am not odd.
